The Bull Elephants are one of the newer parties in the city, rising from relative obscurity in the years of the plague when foreign aid and interference grew by leaps and bounds. Their support has only grown in recent years for revolutions and economic collapse abroad has only driven more refugees into the relative safety of prosperous Mugroba. The party favors stemming the flow of these refugees for they represent a source of corruption and unrest; revolutionaries may be among the refugees, and if there is anything a Bull Elephant hates, it is a revolutionary.

Political Views

Strength and honor are not just words to be thrown about, the are the foundation of sound and enduring policy. The Bull Elephants take this to heart, for the strength and honor of their country and their city are of paramount importance. Suspicious of foreigners, of alien ideas, and of the unrest and discord such things can cause, the Bull Elephants favor a Mugroba for Mugrobi, free of pernicious influences from abroad.

Though considered to be one of the city’s conservative parties, the Bull Elephants are not a galdori-supremacy party by any stretch. Indeed, much of the support for the Bull Elephants comes from the poorer human residents of the city for the Party takes great pride in speaking for the ‘common Mugrobi man’ against the interests of traders, foreigners, and radicals. Their local neighborhood organization skills rival that of the Pipefitters and the Bull Elephants are particularly skilled in turning out their voters. This bodes well for them in the upcoming elections where they are well positioned to take many a seat away from the Pipefitter rivals.

Current Policies

Factions within the party, however may mar any victory that might otherwise be won. The old Elephants favor the continuation of current policies, affording no extended rights and privileges to the lower classes. A more populist wing however sees a chance for greater support and influence in capitalizing on the gains made with the humans and wicks of the city. The strife between these factions is moderate for now, but as the elections approach tensions are rising.
