The Book and Bell is a resistance-friendly tavern in the heart (or the liver) of the Dives. Presided over by a man named Solid Stu and his young bar wench Rum Ginny, this is a good place to find information on the resistance or have a quiet meeting without much worry of being overheard. Warning: not a galdori-friendly environment.

For all your tavern needs, the Book and Bell is well-known for providing excellent service. Not only will the cute little bar wench bring hot food to your table, she'll gladly stab anyone between the ribs if they try to upset your dinner. Literally.
The B&B, as it is affectionately called, is the perfect place to rest your weary head for the night without fear of being murdered or robbed. The modest, gloomy establishment is well-guarded by a dedicated staff. For a few tallies you can rent a comfortable straw bed for the evening, and fall asleep under the rafters of the attic; below, you can have a quiet meal of hot, rather tasteless food and strong drink at the sturdy wooden tables. Human and wick alike enjoy the comforts of this homey tavern, which is several stories tall.
The bartender, Solid Stu, nods to you as you enter, and the tiny barmaid beside him winks slyly.
