As you enter through the huge carved pillars and guarded gates at the entrance to Qrieth, one’s first view of the city is The Amphitheatre. With high arched stone ceilings and a polished white stone floor, the large space acts as a reception area for the vast mountainous city. Discrete aqueducts are carved into the floor, to avoid being flooded by the almost persistent rains that shower the mountain. The Amphitheatre is comprised of government offices, the gaol, the courthouse and other official places of note. The large open space is also used for the beginning of the Ba Bieth festival, holiday feasts and celebrations, entertainment and other events.

The Amphitheatre branches off to all other various sectors of Qrieth, and is classed as the ‘Gateway to Imaan’.
