Male, 50s. A greying and perpetually stressed professor who is studying the mental functions in passives in conjunction with Harper Moore. He is also the tutor of Edguard Alleratt, to whom he is teaching advanced Perceptive magic. Devlin's history is fraught with troubles; it has been suggested that his wife left him and that he was stripped of his magistership for unknown reasons. He was once good friends with Ophelia Servalis, but their relationship has been strained ever since she accepted her position as Headmistress. Devlin also works in Laboratory Beta. Lately he has been taking many trips to Vienda for unknown reasons; he told Ophelia that he was visiting a lady friend, but Professor Moore suspects that it is related to their research.
