The Remembrance is the anniversary of the death of noted human revolutionary Claude Oreau, who was killed during the Rookwen Massacre of 2705. His death is seen as symbolic of the beginning of the true Resistance, and is observed by the planting of winter heath, which represents strength against adversity. The holiday is celebrated by members of the freedom fighters, but is also quietly celebrated by many humans and wicks to recognize Oreau's sacrifice. Every Achtus 13th, a few brave observers gather at the Rookwen Graveyard to pay tribute, though this practice is risky - galdori do not sanction the holiday.
