|Description=The Blind Brothers, or Eruy'tsochyagi, is an old Mugrobi children's table. Although there are printed versions available, it is generally considered to be a story which is meant to be spoken aloud, in the Dzuw'dzow'dza tradition of oral storytelling (translated roughly as 'so it should have been'). There are many different versions of Eruy'tsochyagi, and none is considered more correct or more true than the rest; that which is most true in the moment is the one which conveys best the teller's meaning.

In general, however, all versions of the story have several commonalities. The Blind Brothers is about the brothers Ikwe and Okwe, who are goat-herders in the desert in Mugroba. One day, the brothers are out with their herd of goats, when they are caught by a sandstorm. They hide, and when they emerge, they find that they are very lost. They wander, and grow thirsty; Okwe is fooled by several mirages, and the two brothers follow his directions several times only to find no oasis there. In all versions of the story, at this point, Ikwe calls Okwe a liar; the two fight, and are both left blinded by it. They then think to use their goats to lead them home, and so return.

There are a number of points where tellers may diverge from one another, within the basic framework of the story. In some, Okwe and Ikwe ignore warning signs of the sandstorm; in others, it comes upon them with unnatural swiftness. In some, Ikwe deliberately blinds Okwe and vice versa; in others, it happens through the roughness of the fight, but not deliberately. 

In general, the story is meant to have a number of layers of meaning. It is most commonly believed to be about truth and lies, and to remind children of the need for caution in seeking truth. However, there are no wrong lessons to take away from the story, no more than there are wrong ways to tell the story. Many Mugrobi who tell it will discuss the meaning afterwards; this is considered an important part of the telling.
