The Deep Water tribe is a nomadic wick tribe in Anaxas. It is led by Durg Ja.
Deep Water are committed to their wick roots in a very serious way. Most of the members speak Deep Tek (an ancient version of Tek used by their ancestors, kept alive mainly by Deep Water) and practice traditional wick trades, such as basket-weaving, fishing and hunting, textile-making and the like.
The members are renowned for being very serious, spiritual people who do not usually dress up in the usual wick fashion, preferring instead to don simple headwraps and robes. However, their retelling of traditional wick folktales and ballads make them very popular at gatherings such as the Wick Festival on Surwood Isle.
