|Description=Eyo'pili comes from the [[Dzutaw | dzutaw]] vine, which grows exclusively on the Muluku Islands. It is a green vine which grows wrapped around mangrove trees, roots and branches. When cut, the vine produces thick yellow beads of sap, known as eyo'pili. it must be consumed immediately; once dried, it is useless for getting high, although it is used locally in medicinal applications. There is no known way to transport it in which it remains potent. The taste is notoriously terrible, as is the texture.
|Effects=The first characteristic signs of eyo'pili is a tingling in the arms and legs, followed by a sense of weightlessness and sensitivity of one's skin. Many report a clarity of thought and an easing of discomfort. A high tends to last for one to two hours. The pricking, tingling sensation in the arms and legs may recur intermittently for a day or so, although no harm has been known to come from it. Coming down is often accompanied by a feeling of extreme tiredness.
|Notes=The cutting of the dzutaw vine to harvest eyo'pili is a very precise operation. Too deep a cut kills the vine (and too large a dose generally leads to vomiting, and an fairly ineffective trip), and too shallow a cut leads to insufficient sap for a high.
