Below you will find the Weather Almanac for Dentis 2719 across all of Vita. In the far north towards the Kingdom of Hox and the mountainous sweeps of Gior to the south, this month sees drier than usual snows and biting temperatures. The Kingdom of Mugroba eases slightly with a minor reprieve from the intense heat during the day, with the nights plunging into freezing cold. Bastia's climate is very similar to Anaxas, so much so that the same weather chart can be used for both. Hesse, being a bit further south, enjoys a bit warmer temperature in the east and colder temperatures in the west, with a variation from Anaxas of about eight to ten degrees Fahrenheit.

Weather in the Kingdoms
Fall is somewhat late to the Sister Kingdoms: the last season was especially dry and hot, and clings to Anaxas and Bastia for the first week and a half, with the first few days seeing some of the highest winds in the year so far. Nevertheless, temperatures do cool, and the fever is broken. As Dentis rolls in, rain is more and more frequent, though not to rainy season’s extent. The leaves start to turn, and toward the end of Dentis, they begin to fall, blessing the kingdoms with a riot of color.
In Gior, the fall is beautiful in the upper lands, Verit-Lie embracing the hues of the season and producing some of their best wine vintages in the crisp season. Iventre maintains its pristine white visage, and the surrounding holy ground is kept free of leaf litter by the priests that reside there. In the midlands, the weather maintains its chill, snow a common occurrence on the summit. Lower Gior experiences long bouts of chilled rainfall, much to the pleasure of Giorite, who welcome the additional luck at the end of the rainy season.
In Hox, the chill is maintained throughout, black stone peppered with white snow. The volcano sits ever present, though its heat doesn’t penetrate the surface of the Kingdom like it does beneath. Summer is long past and what few deciduous trees exist in the high altitudes have been barren for weeks already, skeletal fingers reaching for a grey sky. The hint of a particularly harsh winter hangs in the air, and determined Hoxians of all races prepare themselves for the brunt of it.
Hesse and Mugroba wear the fall with barely a hint of a change, the heat in Mugroba dipping just a fraction but not enough to impact the overall season. Unlike the other Kingdoms, they do not have the colors of autumn, their flora adapted for a dryer and harsher terrain with wiry branches and evergreen leaves. Sandstorms are frequent in Mugroba, whipped up by the north-easterly winds coming off Hox, and the front carries through to Hesse. In the mines of the east, Hesse workers faint as the air becomes dryer. Drakes migrate into the rocky barrens, looking to fill their bellies before they go into winter hibernation.
Dentis 18 is the Day of Fools. By nightfall, the streets—excepting those most tightly-patrolled by the Seventen—are full of dancers, magicians, and performers of all stripes, and many humans (and even some galdori) don outlandish costumes to join the parade. The holiday is frowned-upon by the galdori establishment, however, and with the recent unrest, festivities are especially tense in Vienda.
