The Library is a prince among libraries, famous worldwide for its staggering collection of grimoires and reference books. Additionally, the Library boasts an impressive selection of leisure reading, such as fantasy and fiction novels. It is located in the West Crescent of Brunnhold's campus.

Description

Anyone entering the Library would be immediately struck by the sheer size of the building. The cathedral walls seem to stretch to the heavens, and they are lined with shelves - shelves groaning from the weight of thousands upon thousands of grimoires, theory manuscripts, reference books, and enormous dusty tomes of history. Dusts falls gently down from the domed ceiling, caught in the gentle golden light that filters in from the stained-glass windows.

At the front desk sits a bored teenage galdor, twirling a steel-nibbed pen between her fingers. She looks blankly at you. In front of her, there is a crystal bowl of water, and a cheery sign claiming "The Library Scryer will be happy to locate a book for you!"

In the cavernous alleys between the shelves of books, you might spy a nervous-looking young man frantically dusting each tome carefully with a silk handkerchief and humming to himself. He wears a Librarian's hat, but looks a bit young to hold the post.

In the center of the Library is the Reading Room - not really a room as much as a clearing, but the shelves around it make it seem very enclosed. Over-stuffed chairs are arranged in a circle, with a round table in the middle. Often, students and faculty can be seen deep in concentration, their noses hidden behind massive volumes. Other times, you might spot a gaggle of schoolgirls congregating, stifling giggles while they gossip.
