Miscellaneous FAQ

From ThornsWiki

Why are some pages missing in the wiki? Why are there redundant articles?

We are always evolving and updating the wiki to spiff it up, and that includes consolidating information into a reasonable amount of pages, expanding the information currently available and improving the pages that haven't been looked at critically in a long time. This will mean a few red links scattered about. Please let us know if you encounter a blank link. If you have a specific question related to that particular lore, you need only PM an Admin on the forums and ask.

Hey, there's an error in the wiki!

Great! PM an Admin or moderator and we'll see about fixing it.

What are the guidelines for uploading files?

Individuals do not have a limit on how much they upload.

If I have a question, can I PM the site administrator about it?

You can, but please refrain from asking general game questions that could be easily answered by the wiki or by posting in the Q&A forum or Skype. The Q&A forum is there for all game-related questions. Often your questions will be answered more quickly by posting in this forum, because all the mods and players can see your request, and someone's bound to have an answer. The Q&A forum is also useful if you're looking for an answer; you can search through that forum to see if your question has been asked already.

If you have to discuss something more private, the site moderators or the site administrator will be happy to help you out. This includes personal issues and concerns as well as plot-related correspondence.

Can I do Thorns fan-art or fan-fiction?

You are welcome to depict anything you want to from the game, including NPCs and settings, but please keep in mind that only official artwork and in-game writing will be considered canon.

If you upload Thorns-related fan-art or fan-fiction anywhere, a link back to the game would be appreciated! Also, feel free to upload whatever work you have done to the Creative Endeavours forum.

Who is Beefman?

Beefman is a recurring NPC that has died many times but keeps coming back. He frequently gets into conflicts with players and NPCs. He is unstoppable.

Why is everyone talking about pie?

Pie is code for "adult time."
