Cook's Place

Deep within the Dives, Cook's Place is a popular den of ill repute. From the outside it is quite unremarkable, marked only by a crude painting of a woman's silhouette on the door, but inside you are greeted by warmth and the color red. Everything is a deep scarlet - the carpet, the enormous silk body pillows, the drapes, the strings of beads, even the glass in the lamps.
Steam rises from the circular pool in the middle of the floor, which is set with marble and river rocks and filled with comfortably hot, perfumed water. From the ceiling, fragrant smoke billows from several ornate incense lamps, creating an unearthly atmosphere. It is slightly difficult to breathe.
Many scantily-clad women peer at you from behind exotic veils, giggling and batting their eyelashes. They do not advertise what they sell, but it should be fairly obvious by now.
