Charles Holst

Charles Holst was an acclaimed mona theorist who worked at Brunnhold. Though he was never a Magister (having never written a spell himself), he was an accomplished sorcerer, and was probably more powerful than many of the Magisters who serve on the board of Chairs.
Holst's major accomplishments include his discovery of a link between mutations in genes and the magical "block" that keeps passive galdori from doing magic. He believed that he might find a cure for the passive condition one day. Currently, Harper Moore and Castor Devlin are continuing his research.
